Electronic Filing
1. Policy Statement
DINAMIS: Journal of Science and Technology uses an electronic journal management system to facilitate manuscript submission, editorial assessment, peer review, communication, and publication. This policy establishes general requirements for submitting, managing, storing, and maintaining electronic manuscript files and related publication records.
2. Electronic Manuscript Submission
Authors are required to submit manuscripts through the journal's designated online submission system, following the instructions provided on the journal website. Authors should ensure that all submitted files are complete, readable, properly formatted, and relevant to the submission.
Depending on the manuscript and the journal's requirements, supporting files may include figures, tables, supplementary materials, ethical declarations, conflict of interest statements, and other documents requested by the editorial office.
3. File Format and Accuracy
Manuscripts should be submitted in the file format specified by the journal's author guidelines or submission system. Authors are responsible for checking the accuracy of the uploaded files, including the manuscript title, author information, affiliations, references, figures, tables, and supplementary materials.
Files must not contain malicious software, unauthorized content, or material that violates applicable laws, copyright, confidentiality, or research ethics requirements. Authors must ensure that they have the necessary rights to submit all materials included in their files.
4. File Revision and Replacement
When a revision is requested, authors should upload the revised manuscript and any required supporting documents through the designated submission system. Authors should follow the editorial instructions and deadlines communicated by the journal.
Revised files should clearly reflect the requested changes. Where appropriate, authors should also provide a response to the reviewers' comments explaining how each point has been addressed. Authors should not replace or modify a manuscript outside the authorized submission process without informing the editorial office.
5. Editorial and Review Records
Electronic records associated with a submission may include the original manuscript, revised versions, supplementary files, editorial correspondence, reviewer reports, and publication-related documents. These records support the editorial workflow and provide documentation of decisions made during the publication process.
Access to confidential editorial and peer-review records is restricted to authorized individuals who require the information to perform their journal-related responsibilities.
6. Confidentiality and Data Protection
DINAMIS seeks to protect the confidentiality and integrity of electronic files and personal information handled during manuscript submission and publication. Authors, reviewers, and editors must not disclose confidential manuscript materials or editorial communications to unauthorized parties.
Personal information and electronic records should be handled in accordance with applicable institutional procedures, privacy requirements, and the journal's publication policies.
7. File Integrity and Availability
The journal will make reasonable efforts to maintain the integrity and availability of electronic manuscript records and published content. Technical limitations, system maintenance, or other circumstances may occasionally affect access to the submission platform.
Authors should retain copies of their submitted manuscripts and supporting files. If a technical problem prevents submission or access to an existing record, authors should contact the editorial office for assistance.
8. Responsibilities of Users
All users of the electronic journal system are responsible for protecting their login credentials, providing accurate information, and using the system only for legitimate journal-related activities. Unauthorized access, manipulation of submission records, or misuse of confidential files is not permitted.
9. Policy Compliance
Failure to comply with this policy may result in a request for corrected files, suspension of the submission process, or other appropriate editorial action. DINAMIS may update this policy as necessary to improve the security, reliability, and transparency of its electronic publication workflow.
