Authorship Criteria
Principles of Authorship
DINAMIS Journal recognizes authorship as an acknowledgment of substantial intellectual and scholarly contributions to a manuscript. Authorship must reflect the actual contributions of each individual involved in the research and preparation of the article.
All individuals listed as authors must meet the authorship criteria described in this policy. Individuals who have provided assistance but do not meet the authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately, with their consent, in the acknowledgments section.
Eligibility for Authorship
To qualify as an author, an individual should satisfy all of the following criteria:
- Make a substantial contribution to the conception or design of the work, the acquisition of data, or the analysis and interpretation of data.
- Participate in drafting the manuscript or revising it critically for important intellectual content.
- Approve the final version of the manuscript to be submitted and published.
- Accept accountability for their contributions and cooperate in ensuring that questions concerning the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately addressed.
All listed authors should satisfy these criteria. Participation limited to administrative supervision, funding acquisition, routine data collection, language editing, or general technical assistance does not, by itself, establish eligibility for authorship.
Corresponding Author
One author must be designated as the corresponding author. The corresponding author is responsible for communicating with the editorial office, coordinating the submission and revision process, ensuring that all authors have approved the manuscript, and responding to editorial inquiries during and after publication.
The corresponding author must ensure that the names, affiliations, email addresses, and order of authors are accurate and agreed upon by all authors before submission.
Author Contributions
Authors are encouraged to communicate clearly about their respective contributions during the preparation of the manuscript. Where appropriate, the journal may request a statement describing each author's role in the research and manuscript preparation.
All authors share responsibility for the integrity of the work and should be able to identify their own contributions and the contributions of their co-authors. The inclusion of an individual's name without their knowledge or consent is not permitted.
Changes in Authorship
Any request to add or remove an author, change the order of authors, or modify the corresponding author after submission must be accompanied by a clear explanation and the agreement of all affected authors. The editorial team may request written confirmation before considering such a change.
Changes in authorship are subject to editorial review and approval. Authors must not alter authorship information without informing the editorial office.
Acknowledgments
Individuals or organizations that have contributed to the work but do not meet the authorship criteria may be acknowledged in a separate section. Examples include individuals who provided technical assistance, language editing, administrative support, or other non-author contributions.
Authors should obtain permission from individuals named in the acknowledgments before including their names. Sources of financial support and relevant institutional assistance should also be disclosed where applicable.
Misuse of Authorship
Guest authorship, gift authorship, honorary authorship, and ghost authorship are not acceptable. Authors must not include individuals who have not made qualifying contributions or omit individuals who have made substantial contributions without a legitimate reason.
Any concerns regarding inappropriate authorship may be investigated by the editorial team in accordance with the journal's publication ethics and research misconduct policies. Where necessary, the journal may request supporting documentation or clarification from the authors' institutions.
Responsibility for the Manuscript
By submitting a manuscript to DINAMIS, the authors confirm that the authorship information is accurate, all listed authors have approved the submission, and the manuscript complies with the journal's applicable publication ethics policies.
