Abstract

In mining industries, the vibration analysis almost use frequency domain even some times we using time domain. Sometimes we have to use time domain also such as to investigate of the gear failure, but for the bearing failure we have to use frequency domain and other evident such as fracture form, if any there are fatigue as shown by beach mark. For the gear failure, ussualy we use frequebcy domain to identify gearmesh frequency, but for identify missalignment and broken tooth we have to us time domain or waveform analysis. In this paper explained how to investigate of the eccentic gear failure base on time domain domain. Sometime theoritical basis are not matching with on the field condition, because of the complexity of the situation on the field. Measuring point are at the pinion gear, because of there is not  any acces to measure VA from eccentric gear position, time periodic of the pinion gear times gear ratio to find time periodic of eccentric gear.
