The news process carried out by journalists to produce quality and objective news is often constrained by various things that are suspected of causing a news story to be considered bad, such as the lack of quality of competence of journalists as well as violations of the journalistic code of ethics that are often carried out. So researchers are interested in raising the issue of the objectivity of journalists in the news in JUBI Newspaper. The data collection technique in this study uses indepth interview methods or in-depth interviews with informants. The next step is to analyze the data is to collect various data needed in the research. The results showed that the objectivity of the news by jubi newspaper journalists, has met or in accordance with journalistic standards, namely with the benchmark basic formulation of 5W + 1H.

This can be demonstrated by the independence of the news by jubi newspaper journalists are always maintained in addition to the freedom of journalists in seeking, processing and disseminating information without having to fear intervention from both outside and internal jubi newspaper. While the balance of news by JUBI Newspaper journalists, still not qualified because there are still Jubi Newspaper journalists who write news not in accordance with the code of ethics. Thus, control over the application of journalistic code of ethics to journalists must be considered and continuously and also done in order to reduce or minimize the actions of journalists who can damage the good name of the company and profession as journalists. In addition, JUBI Newspaper must also pay attention to its function as a medium.
