PERAN DOKTER DALAM MEMBAGUN KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL YANG EFEKTIF TERHADAP PASIEN DAN KELUARGANYA PADA RSUD DOK II KOTA JAYAPURA

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of doctors in building effective interpersonal communication relationships with patients. This study uses qualitative research methods, data collection is done by means of in-depth interviews (in-depth interviews), field observations and documentation, so that it will be able to explore the role of doctors in building effective communication with patients. The results of this study explain that the role of doctors is very important in building effective communication with patients, including doctors acting as communicators, as communicants, building cooperation, problem solvers. When the doctor performs his role well, it will form effective interpersonal relationships with patients, such as more open patients (openness), then provide support (supportiveness), provide a positive attitude (positiveness).
